As Security Solutions Engineer (m/f/d) you are essential in providing the necessary technical know-how for our Sales teams to sell our products and services and work as an equal partner with the sales team in matching up customers with VMRay’s security solutions. VMRay’s technology is unparalleled in the industry and requires deep technical knowledge in cybersecurity (and sandboxing in particular) very early in the sales cycle. Providing product demos and assisting potential customers in Proof of Concepts as well as training our partners and customers belongs to your primary areas of work. You will be required to have presentation-ready knowledge and product expertise on all VMRay products, with specialized expertise in the security solutions. Since our customers belong to some of the largest enterprises in the world, you also have expertise in answering and constructing RFPs to position our products properly.

Your Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Sales Team in evaluating prospects’ requirements throughout the sales process

  • Assist the Sales Team early in the sales phase with relevant product demonstrations highlighting the technical value proposition of VMRay’s products

  • Guide and support prospects throughout the evaluation phase of the sales process

  • Provide technical training to our channel partners, prospects, and customers

  • Provide demonstrations during webinars, events, and industry trade shows

  • Communicate customer feedback to the VMRay Products Team

Our Requirements
  • University degree in IT (or another relevant field of study) or a completed vocational training as IT specialist etc.

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical pre-sales roles

  • Strong technical background preferably in cybersecurity

  • Troubleshooting and working experience with Linux operating systems

  • Knowledge of networking infrastructure and protocols

  • Exceptional ability to present and communicate with both technical and sales functions

  • Willingness to work with colleagues and customers across time zones

  • Knowledge in scripting and programming beneficial

  • Excellent writing and speaking skills in English

  • Ability to be self-driven and motivated
