Pre-Sales and Channel Solutions Engineer – APAC


As Pre-Sales and Channel Solutions Engineer you are essential in providing the necessary technical know-how for our Sales teams to sell our products and services. VMRay’s technology is unparalleled in the industry and requires deep technical knowledge in cybersecurity (and sandboxing in particular) very early in the sales cycle.
Providing product demos and assisting potential customers in Proof of Concepts as well training our partners and customers belongs to your primary areas of work. Since our customers belong to some of the largest enterprises in the world, you also have expertise in answering and constructing RFPs to position our products properly.


  • Be the technical sales representative for new prospects
  • Provide technical training to our channel and customers
  • Assist sales team in early sales phase with relevant product demos
  • Evaluate customer requirements
  • Guide and support proof of concept phase of sales process
  • Own sales opportunities together with sales representative


  • 3-5 years of experience in technical pre-sales roles
  • Exceptional ability to communicate with both technical and sales functions
  • Strong technical background
  • Knowledge of networking infrastructure and protocols
  • Professional experience in cybersecurity
  • Fluent in English (German speaker beneficial)
  • Understanding of sales processes is essential
  • Willingness to work with colleagues and customers across time zones
  • Knowledge in scripting and programming beneficial
