Alliance Manager


The Alliance Manager identifies, develops, and maintains alliances and technology partnerships that assist VMRay in meeting its strategic business objectives. We all need to lend a hand as our Boston office grows so contributing to other facets of the sales cycle may be a part of the initial requirements.


  • Define, manage and drive VMRay ecosystem partnerships including conducting due diligence in evaluating potential partners
  • Develop and deliver presentations highlighting the value of alliances or partnerships to all involved parties
  • Assist with the negotiation of formal alliance or partnership agreements and ensure ongoing satisfaction of the partner organization
  • Work with partners to develop joint solutions and sales plays that leverage partner capabilities & technologies
  • Lead the relationship from the contractual and operational perspective. Identify and develop new areas of the partnership which are accretive for both organizations
  • Collaborate with VMRay partner marketing to drive joint marketing activity and VMRay Product Management to identify value-adding integrations


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Security or related fields preferred
  • 4+ Years of experience in a Strategic Alliance Manager or similar role
  • Strong technical foundation in security technologies
  • Proven ability to work with a smaller team and “roll up your sleeves” work ethic
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate a group required
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong presentation skills
  • Dependable, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable with prioritizing multiple simultaneous tasks
